ABOUT ME
My name is Aisha Tejani. I am a south Asian settler living and working on the lands of the traditional, ancestral and stolen territories of the xÊ·məθkwÉ™yÌ“É™m, Skwxwú7mesh and SÉ™lÌ“ÃlwÉ™taÊ” peoples. I moved to Canada when I was 16 years old from London, UK and since then have learned from many teachers and mentors on this land.

I have been practicing mindfulness for the past 8 years and have the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Commerce Degree, UBC
Mindful Educator Essentials Certificate from Mindful Schools
200 hour Meditation Teacher Training Certificate from Lab of Meditation
Trained in Queer Competency with Qmunity
5 years of experience teaching mindfulness with the BC Crisis Centre to high school students
1 year of experience teaching mindfulness to staff and faculty at UBC
